Conduction of the conference: ''The implementation of CIRCULAR ECONOMY to AGRICULTURE and LIVESTOCK farming'', Thessaloniki 31/01-01/02 2019

 

The international conference AgroCIRCLE “The implementation of circular economy to Agriculture and Livestock farming” is organized under the auspices of DGENV (European Commission), the Region of Central Macedonia, the Region of Thessaly and City of Thessaloniki.

The conference will be implemented in the framework of Zootechnia, HELEXPO, the 11th international fair for livestock and poultry, welcoming more than 100.000 visitors from more than 35 countries.

​

Based on the circular economy principles and the framework of CAP, AgroCIRCLE will focus on circular economy & resource efficiency issues, existing policies, new actions and their strategic implementation, best practices and innovative solutions as well as investment and financing- funding opportunities, applied to all stages of the entire agri-food sector, from production to marketing.

​

This event will be a meeting point for EU policy makers, experts and decision makers, public authorities, researchers and innovators, business leaders and financial instruments, gathering together to exchange their thoughts and experiences on the opportunities of implementing the circular economy to agriculture and livestock farming.
